BIBLE READING
Psalm 8:4–6:- “What is mankind that You are mindful of them, human beings that You care for them? You made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of Your hands…”
Romans 8:30:- “And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.”
I welcome you to, our lesson on Crowned with Glory.
From creation to eternity, glory was always your portion.
You were not made to live in shame, fear, or survival mode. You were:
Formed in glory
Redeemed for glory
Called to carry glory
And destined to be crowned in it
The crown of glory is not just a future reward—it is a present reality and identity.
Romans 8:30 says you’ve already been glorified in Christ. That means:
You carry honor before heaven
You walk in delegated authority
You reflect the image of the King
You are called to rule in your sphere, not shrink back in defeat
Your crown is not made of gold—it’s made of intimacy, identity, and inheritance. And you wear it best when you:
Walk in humility
Operate in obedience
Abide in His presence
Serve from overflow.
The enemy’s greatest fear is a believer who knows they are crowned with glory—and walks like it.
Biblical Examples
Adam in Eden – Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 8:5:- In the beginning, man was created in glory, to rule and reflect God. Adam didn’t work for glory—it was his inheritance. He was clothed in the presence of God until sin caused a fall from glory (Romans 3:23). But Jesus, the second Adam, came to restore what was lost—and more.
Humanity was made to walk in crowned authority. The fall removed the robe—but redemption restored the crown.
Jesus: Crowned in Suffering and Glory – Hebrews 2:9:- Jesus was “crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death.” Before resurrection glory, He wore the crown of thorns. But now, He is seated in glory and shares His authority with us (Ephesians 2:6). The crown is both earned by Christ and granted to those in Him.
The cross was the gateway to the crown.
Now, we reign with Him as co-heirs of divine glory.
DAILY SPIRITUAL TASK
Wear The Crown
Reflect: Where have you been walking like a servant, when God has crowned you as a son/daughter?
What lies or fears have tried to rob you of your glory identity?
Write down:
A declaration about your God-given authority and identity.
One action that aligns with your “crowned” status (e.g., bold prayer, worship leadership, forgiveness, speaking truth in love).
Declare aloud:
“I am crowned with glory and honor. I reign in life through Christ. I will walk in my royal identity for His glory.”
MEMORY VERSE
“You crowned them with glory and honor and made them rulers over the works of Your hands.” – Psalm 8:5–6 (NIV)
PRAYER POINTS
Father, I receive the crown of glory You’ve placed on me—not because of my works, but because of Jesus. Help me wear it with humility, authority, and joy. I will live from my position, not my past. In Jesus’ name.
Holy Spirit, let me never forget who I am in Christ. Crown my thoughts with truth, my heart with love, and my life with purpose. Let my crown point others to the King of glory. In Jesus’ name.
