BIBLE READING
Ephesians 6:10 (NIV):-
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
I welcome you to our lesson on Standing Firm in Faith.
In battles, standing firm in faith is crucial. The enemy often seeks to shake our confidence in God, but we are called to hold our ground. Faith anchored in God’s promises ensures we remain steadfast despite the circumstances.
Biblical Examples
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3):- Faced with the fiery furnace, these three men refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s idol. They declared, “The God we serve is able to deliver us… But even if he does not, we want you to know… we will not serve your gods” (Daniel 3:17-18). Their unwavering faith led to their miraculous preservation.
Peter Walking on Water (Matthew 14:22-33):- When Jesus called Peter to walk on water, Peter’s faith allowed him to step out of the boat. However, when he focused on the wind and waves, he began to sink. Jesus rescued him, saying, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31). Keeping our eyes on Jesus ensures we remain firm in faith.
TASK:
Think of a situation where your faith wavered. Write down three promises from Scripture that strengthen your resolve to stand firm in future challenges.

PRAYER POINTS
Lord, help me to stand firm in faith, regardless of what I face. Strengthen me to trust You in every season of life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
