Acts 2:1-13 (The Day of Pentecost).
I welcome you to our lesson on The Holy Spirit Empowers Us.
The Holy Spirit is our source of power and guidance in life’s battles. On the day of Pentecost, the disciples were filled with the Spirit and empowered to boldly proclaim the gospel.
Victory requires dependence on the Holy Spirit for strength, wisdom, and discernment. He equips us to overcome challenges and live victoriously in every aspect of life.
Biblical Examples
Samson’s Strength :- In Judges 14:6, Samson’s strength came from the Spirit of the Lord empowering him for victory.
Jesus’ Ministry :- In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus declared that the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him, enabling Him to fulfill His mission.
TASK
Pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit and ask Him to empower you for your current battles.
MEMORY VERSE
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” Acts 1:8
PRAYER POINTS
Holy Spirit, fill me afresh and empower me to live victoriously. Guide me in truth and strengthen me to face every challenge with boldness and faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
