DAILY LIFE CAPSULE: LIFE BAKERS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Apostle Sunday A. Adetunmbi

Thursday 24th July 2025.

BIBLE READING
Habakkuk 2:14:- “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”

Isaiah 66:18–19:-“…I will gather the people of all nations and languages, and they will come and see My glory.”

I welcome you to our lesson The Nations and the Glory.

God’s plan has always been global, not local. His promise to Abraham was that “all nations would be blessed” through him. Jesus’ Great Commission was to “go into all the world.” Why?
Because the earth is groaning for glory (Romans 8:19–21).
Not just people—but cities, nations, systems, cultures.
💡The end-time move of God will not just be revival in churches—it will be glory among the nations.
When we talk about new realms of glory, we must think beyond ourselves:
Glory for healing nations (Rev. 22:2)
Glory in justice, governance, and reconciliation
Glory among the unreached, the persecuted, and the forgotten
Mission is not just about evangelism—it’s about revealing the glory of God in every language and land. And we are invited to participate:
Through prayer
Through giving
Through going
Through speaking the Word boldly where we are.

Biblical Examples

The Tower of Babel vs. Pentecost – Genesis 11:1–9; Acts 2:1–12:- At Babel, people tried to build their own name and glory—and God scattered them by confusing their languages. But at Pentecost, God poured out His Spirit and glory, and the nations heard the gospel in their own tongues.
Babel was about human fame.
Pentecost was about global glory.
God reversed the confusion of Babel with a unified sound of glory that reached every nation under heaven.

The Revelation Multitude – Revelation 7:9–12:- John saw a vision of the end: a multitude no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne, clothed in white, shouting praises to the Lamb.
The end goal of redemption is not just personal transformation—it’s global glorification.
God’s glory will gather the nations into one voice of eternal worship.

DAILY SPIRITUAL TASK
Choose one nation (your own or another) and pray this:
“Lord, let Your glory rise over [nation]. Let churches burn with fire. Let the gospel run swiftly. Let the lost see Jesus.”
Write down:
One way you can support God’s global glory: prayer, mission giving, encouraging missionaries, cultural reconciliation, or cross-cultural ministry.
Declare aloud:
“I align with heaven’s mission. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord—and I am part of that plan.”

MEMORY VERSE
“The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” – Habakkuk 2:14 (NIV)

PRAYER POINTS
Father, Your glory belongs to every tribe, every people, every language. I pray for the nations to awaken to Your light. Let churches rise, the gospel spread, and unreached hearts encounter You. In Jesus’ name.

Holy Spirit, send me—whether to my street or the nations. Expand my vision to see beyond my walls. Let Your glory flow through my prayers, my giving, and my obedience. Let my life participate in global glory. In Jesus’ name.
