BIBLE READING
John 15:4–5:- “Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine… apart from Me you can do nothing.”
2 Corinthians 3:18:- “We… are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
I welcome you to our lesson on Walking in Continuous Glory.
There is a difference between an encounter with glory and a life shaped by it.
God doesn’t want you to visit the mountaintop and go back to normal. He wants you to build a life that sustains what you’ve received.
That’s why Paul writes: “ever-increasing glory…” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Glory is meant to grow, deepen, and transform.
The key to walking in continuous glory is abiding, not activity.
Glory is sustained by:
Remaining in Christ (John 15)
Ongoing surrender
Intentional worship
Obedient action
Guarding what God has deposited
Many lose the weight of glory because they stop doing the small things:
Private prayer
Word meditation
Yielded hearts
Purity of motive.
If you want perpetual glory, you must live a rooted life, not just a reactive one. Revival moments are amazing, but it is the discipline of abiding that builds a vessel for continuous flow.
Biblical Examples
Jesus’ Secret of Consistency – Mark 1:35; Luke 5:16:- Even in the height of His ministry, Jesus withdrew regularly to be alone with the Father. His public miracles flowed from private glory encounters. He didn’t visit the presence—He lived in it.
He walked in glory by abiding in communion.
Glory didn’t burn out, because He stayed connected.
Moses and the Tent of Meeting – Exodus 33:7–11:- Moses regularly entered the Tent of Meeting where God would speak to him face to face. This wasn’t a once-in-a-lifetime experience—it was his ongoing rhythm. That’s why glory marked him continually, not just momentarily.
Moses became a carrier of glory because he prioritized encounter.
His consistency led to greater revelation and authority.
DAILY SPIRITUAL TASK
Stay In The Vine
Reflect: What disciplines have helped you maintain God’s presence most consistently?
What distracts you from abiding?
Write down:
One personal rhythm (daily worship, journaling, Scripture meditation) that you will commit to long-term.
One way you will guard your glory walk going forward.
Declare aloud:
“I remain in Him—and His glory remains in me. I will walk in continuous presence, not occasional moments.”
MEMORY VERSE
“Remain in Me, as I also remain in you.” – John 15:4 (NIV)
PRAYER POINTS
Father, I don’t want to visit Your presence—I want to live there. Teach me to walk in abiding glory, to stay rooted in Christ, and to be faithful in every season, not just the exciting ones. In Jesus’ name.
Holy Spirit, keep me from growing cold. Stir me when I drift. Let Your fire never go out on the altar of my heart. Let my life be marked by the consistency of glory, not just the memory of it. In Jesus’ name.
